Guilty plea in Belmar cruelty case

BELMAR - On October 21st, Vadimir Azcona of North Brunswick pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges in the Belmar court system. He was ordered to pay $1,000.00 in fines.

On 7/15/09, Mr. Azcona left his two dogs in his car in 88 degree temperatures with no water. The Belmar Police Department rescued the dogs and contacted Chief Amato who charged the suspect with animal cruelty.
