Guilty plea in dog car case

OCEANPORT - On May 19th, Judge Michael Thompson of the Oceanport Municipal Court accepted a guilty plea of Mr. Malcom Gravesande of 818 South Street, Philadelphia, PA.

On May 2nd, Mr. Gravesand left his 8 week old Argentine Mastiff named Storm in his car with the temperatures above 80 degreees. The dog was rushed to the Red Bank Animal Hospital by Sg. Matthew Gillian and the dog is now up for adoption.

Mr. Gravesande was ordered to pay $750 in fines plus $850 in restitution; the dog was ordered the property of the MC-SPCA.
