The latest designer dog is allergy friendly, non-shedding and great with kids. They are also so versatile that they can be trained to pull a wheelchair, alert people to high blood pressure, be a pet or even a guard to your home. Giant Schnoodles are a new hybrid bred specifically for service, agility, carting, doggy dancing canine freestyle, obedience, farm work, horse following and family pet. They are generally non to low shedding, strong enough to pull a wheelchair and seem to be hypoallergenic to many allergy sufferers. The Giant Schnoodle of Joy has been found to have tremendous intuitive abilities, and their puppies are great with children. The Giant Schnoodle is a hybrid standard poodle crossed with a giant schnauzer. They have the trainability and friendliness of the poodle with the watchdog ability of the Giant Schnauzer. They are intelligent enough to know the difference between friends and the bad guys. The "of Joy" designation means that they have had an extensive orthopedic and genetic testing to meet the stringent standards of Joy de la Ren, the originator of the Giant Schnoodle. The most exciting aspect of the Giant Schnoodle is that they are have incredible ability to know what is happening in their owner's body. Xena is a three year old Gian Schnoodle owned by Joy. Xena saved Joy's life by waking her in the middle of the night when Joy's blood pressure had risen dangerously high. Xena woke her up in time to get an ambulance, get to the hospital and saved her life. Xena and her mother, Karma, assist Joy in a new and unique business. They are the only ones in the world that do mobile advertising on a dog chariot. Xena's brother, Mr. Schnoodles, owned by Ruth Ballard in Sydney, Maine, saved the life of a foal when he alerted his owner that a foal was being born early and lay dying in the amniotic sack. Zoe assists his owner, a psychologist, in doing psychotherapy with his patients. Zoe is only nine months old. Xena is the first puppy of the first litter of Giant Schnoodles of Joy and was featured in Life Magazine in October, 2004.
