Actors as far as I am concerned are great because they are comic relief. That's all they are. They are not politicians. They are not leaders of any thing. It is very comical when someone who only pretends to be the president of this country actually starts to think that they really are capable of telling people the state of world affairs. There have been a few exceptions however, President Ronald Reagan was a great leader and actor. But, the Baldwins and Martin Sheen and others who are great actors are turning out to be great embarrassments! The fact is that they only prove that this nation is great because if they were Iraqi citizens and carried on the way they do, they would have been tortured, shot and left to rot, actors or not! These people are not afraid to speak their minds because real Americans that put their lives on the line gave them the freedom to do so, sometimes at great cost! I am amazed when I see on the news how our young soldiers are handling themselves in the effort to free a nation that is obviously in need of everything. I just can not understand how protesters can do everything in their power to undo what these brave men and women are accomplishing! I wonder what channel these protesters are watching, are they seeing what I am seeing or are they tuned in to some sub-culture channel that's still controlled by Iraqi TV? There is no way they can be watching what the rest of us are watching. If they were, they would be hanging their academy award-winning heads in shame. They would see that these same people that they think we are hurting are applauding harder then any applause they ever received. It's our troops that have given them the freedom that these actors/anti-war protesters have taken for granted. So, the next time you see a Susan Sarandon or a Baldwin or some other wannabe American that sucks up the freedom that they so do not deserve, ask them for their autograph. But, make sure what they are signing is a picture of their good friend Sudan Hussein. The sad thing is a year or so from now, one of these make believe Americans will probably win an academy award for portraying a real American hero, like a young women named Jessica Lynch. Someone who any real American would be honored to have an autograph from. I can only hope that when the script is being put together that the producers remember that we as American will not forget who the protesters were and make that a real consideration when that role is filled.
