Sensei Ken Perseghin's Teaching Philosophy: When teaching children I strive to keep it interesting and applicable to the real world in which students will find themselves today.

I feel that the learning of a Martial Art will build self-confidence, discipline, self-control and character within children. These traits will help them grow through the years not only in karate, but also in their academic and scholastic life as well.

A Bit About Sensei Ken Perseghin: I was introduced to the martial arts in 1976 by my two older brothers who were instructors at the karate school in Bayonne. They are not just instructors to me but my mentors...and I have been training on and off ever since.

Karate has given me the tools I need to help me through all walks of life and the challenges that I encounter. In my teaching, I continue to pass on what I have learned through my years of training so students can enjoy the same benefits that I am fortunate to have today.
