Sensei Mat Weisfeld's Teaching Philosophy: As a teacher it is important to help students learn from their mistakes. No one is perfect and not everyone is a model student, but all students have the right to learn. It is the teacher's job to educate the student and guide them to have courtesy, integrity, perseverance, and an indomitable spirit. It is important for a teacher to keep an open mind and learn from others and their students.
A Bit About Sensei Mat Weisfeld: The Martial Arts is more then self-defense and learning how to "hit someone". It is about learning to face life with all of its challenges. It is about taking a weakness or disadvantage and making it your advantage. Everything in life can get you down; the important part is standing back up when it does.
